Iluminating an external scene is a way to bring personality and life to things , along with a sense of security and wellbeing. Outdoor lighting must therefore consider an adequate level of light directed in specific areas, without spilling over into undesired surroundings and without glare. The fixtures must also withstand humidity, harsh weather conditions and extreme temperature variations. Last but not least they must provide stylish results so to emphasize and sculpture new fascinating light effects and bring added value to the external areas so to better interpret our outdoor spaces.

180° and 360° distribution

Tonight has been developed in two variants 180° and 360° allowing to illuminate external areas with diverse characteristics with an even distribution of light.

Tonight for urban and public areas

A bollard with essential lines that suits almost every urban context such as walking areas , paths , near parking areas so to maximize the use of public space and guarantee a degree of safety.

Uniform distribution of light

Tonight is characterized by a slim cylindrical head where the glass, positioned horizontally so to protect the optical system, is totally hidden from sight. The light is directed downwards illuminating the surrounding area without any dispersion or spill. The prismatic opal glass distributes the light evenly and the milled aperture reduces glare so to guarantee a high degree of visual comfort.

Solidity and durability in time

With double painting like all the rest of the SIMES range: Tonight guarantees a high level of resistance against corrosion and harsh weather conditions. The bollard's diameter of 200mm in aluminium that incorporates and protects the glass diffuser makes this bollard very resistant against acts of vandalism and very suitable in public applications.
