SIMES Adjustable ROD is a product with a thin and linear design, which offers a wide range of movement and modularity even on the color of light emitted, to enhance a context that can be enhanced with tailor-made solutions.

High tiltability
and tunable light

Ideal for the facade lighting, emphatising architectural elements, ceilings and vaults, Tiltable Rod can be used to create soft light effects as wall washer or to trace lines of direct light. The lighting body can rotate 120° thus around its axis to direct the beam even when installed.
The potential of Tiltable Rod is also expressed through its LED lighting source; an opal LED strip IP65 available in Tunable White or RGBW

Customizable light and colors

The Tiltable Rod is available with TUNABLE WHITE source, for a color changing from warm to cold (from 2700K to 4000K), or in RGB+W version that adds a white LED to the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) to get even more color variants.

These systems are open to an on site settings of the quantity of light emitted and the color of the light itself, becoming the right solution to multiple design needs.

Two lengths for multiple applications

The Tiltable Rod is available in two different lengths (1m and 2m), with one or two anchoring systems, respectively. Installing one product next to the other can achieve a continuous light effect, which can be controlled remotely. The installation is done individually for each element.

Double finish

Tiltable Rod is available in anodized aluminium or in white painted aluminium.
This colouration allows the Tiltable Rod to be easily used in façades, ceilings and string-course without being seen.

Ceiling application

Tiltable Rod can be installed on the ceiling to direct the beam towards the vertical wall and enhance its surface. The distance from the wall and the degree of inclination of the rod determine a more or less grazing light effect on the subject to be illuminated.

On wall application

Installed on the wall, Tiltable Rod can underline the linearity of a facade or enhance its rhythmic scanning.
Its extremely thin profile makes it light and discreet and limits the visual impact on the architectural shell both in the case of historical and modern contexts.

On the ground or
on a ledge application

Installed on the ground, Tiltable Rod expresses its great flexibility by directing the beam towards the subject to be illuminated. By measuring in a balanced way the distance from the subject and the degree of inclination of the light body it is possible to obtain in real time a tailor-made lighting. Installed on overhangs and cornices, it disappears in the architecture, emphasizing the materiality of the surfaces.
