Continuous rod is a versatile linear lighting system for outdoor applications that can highlight volumes and spaces with attractive effects through grazing, linear blades of light and ambient lighting effects. The LED source, inserted flush inside an extruded painted aluminium profile follows the architectural forms and expresses a new identity. The different methods of installation ( surface mounted or recessed in plasterboard or solid walls) can give rise to many different lighting solutions.
The continuous rod minimal comes with an extruded square aluminium profile with reduced dimensions (22x22mm): a slim LED strip cuts through the space, not just to illuminate but also to emphasize the architecture and create runs of sharp light . Continuous Rod minimal comes in runs of 1, 2 or 3 meters, it can either be surface mounted or recessed and cut every 5 cm so to customize to specific requirements. In the recessed version we can choose either the continuous Rod Minimal with clips for plasterboard installation or with a recessed profile to install into solid walls.
With its flexible system of installation and versatile application, Continuous Rod Minimal can be installed to crate articulated linear or angular runs of continuous light. Both in the surface mounted or recessed versions for plasterboards, this innovative coupling system between profiles allow to manage both straight runs or angles of continuous light on the same plane or on perpendicular planes without any interruption between walls and ceiling. With such an open system, light becomes like a tool allowing the designer to express his full potential and creativity
Continuous rod comfort comes in an extruded aluminium profile where the LED strip has been recessed well inside the rod so to significantly reduce the possibility of glare and therefore improve visual comfort. Continuous rod comfort can either be surface mounted or recessed. The surface mounted version can be installed to create attractive diffused lighting effects or soft wall washing effects when installed near walls. In the recessed version we have two variants to chose from: a version with clips for recessing into plasterboard or with a recessed aluminium profile for installation into solid walls .
Continuous Rod Comfort is supplied in lengths of 1-2-3 meter profiles that can be cut every 5 cm so to customize to specific requirements and these can be coupled together when surface mounted or recessed into plasterboard , so to create continuous runs of lights on the same plane whether it be walls or ceilings.
Designed for illuminating facades, walls, ledges, highlighting textures, continuous rod outlines the geometries of space.
